Overview
Package Includes:
All meals starting with lunch on the first day and ending with supper at the Lazy L&B Ranch the final evening. Horses and riding every day. Cook & experienced guide. Wall tents with wood burning stoves for heat, lanterns, cots & pads, hot water shower, latrine tents.
The advantage of a base camp over a progressive trip is the ease of preparing fresh meals. No freeze dried food at our camp. We even bake breads and biscuits fresh in our wood burning stove. Breakfast and supper are prepared at our cook tent while most every lunch is enjoyed on the trail in a spectacular location. We feel our meals are second to none in the mountains.
Ability Level: Moderate
Duration: 4-6 Days (3-5 nights)
Minimum Age: 10 years old (able to ride 4-5 hours in a day)
Accommodations: Deluxe base camp
Trip Prices & Schedule:
Trips begin first Saturday in July through mid September. $225 per day per person plus 15% tax and service charge. Optional lodging night before and after trip. Call for more information.
Excluded:
Ground transportation to and from the ranch and the airport. Lodging the night before and after. Fishing license. May be bought in Dubois. BYOB, we will pack it in. Sleeping bags, towels and personal gear. Transportation as well as lodging can be arranged by the ranch for an extra charge.
Optional expenses:
Fishing license if you plan to fish.
