Welcome to our Wilderness Camp!
Join us on an exciting 4 to 6 day wilderness trip to our base camp in Bear Basin. Camp trips are available from the first Saturday in July until mid September. Enjoy the comforts of our base camp every night and explore the vast Washakie Wilderness during the day on our mountain horses.
The riding is superb. Daily rides deep into the wilderness explore timbered canyons and high mountain passes up to 11,000 feet. You'll see elk, deer, moose and even an occasional bear. Great fishing is a 10 minute walk below camp in Bear Creek.
With no more than 8 guests, the camp is very comfortable. Hearty mountain cooking is prepared at our cook tent and enjoyed in the adjoining dining tent or around the campfire. Sleep in our roomy guest tents supplied with a wood burning stove for heat, and cots and pads, or grab your sleeping bag and sleep under the stars.
This is the perfect way to enjoy the back country wilderness without the hardships of backpacking. Book this wilderness camp trip separately, or add it onto a 6 night guest ranch experience at the Lazy L&B Ranch.
